    Review of the Package Travel Regulations | Political Lobbying | HolidayTravelWatch

    The European Commission has requested that all of the main Consumer Directives be reviewed, as part of a move toward harmonising Consumer Protection throughout the EU. HolidayTravelWatch is a ’stakeholder’ in the travel debate, and has therefore submitted a report to the Department for Trade & Industry, for their consideration, and onward recommendations to the Commission.  This enquiry is very important to the Consumer, particularly for the future conduct and operation of consumer rights in holiday contracts.  Many holiday complaints involve reports of holiday illness or sickness, holiday accidents, changes to holidays, flight changes and poor customer service – the Consumer needs protection!  Read More
