We have recently expressed misgivings about travel and insurance advices from tour companies and government agencies. The Organisation notes that the Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) recently lifted its ‘all but essential travel’ advice, now advising Britons not to travel to certain areas in Kenya. We note however that despite that expression of optimism, there remains a great deal of uncertainty within that unhappy country. We again express the hope that Kenya will soon experience a recovery for the good of its entire people. Read More

The enquiry commenced by The Treasury Select Committee, into the sale of Travel Insurance and its regulation, will benefit holidaymakers where they suffer with holiday illness or accident, lose personal possessions or need to return to the UK or cancel their holiday unexpectedly.  We consider that a regulatory regime will bring home to holidaymakers the very strong need to insure and make sure that they are fully covered!    Read More
