The Directors of HolidayTravelWatch were deeply saddened to hear of the deaths of two ‘Guardia Civil’ Officers, following the bomb blast in Palma Nova, Majorca, on Thursday last week.  Deepest sympathies and heartfelt respect are offered to the families of the deceased.  It should be recognised that the ‘travel industry family’ does not just extend to those who strictly work in the industry, but also in the many ancillary services that provide support to a local economy.  We recognise that local police, in whatever country, often have to deal with many difficult situations for and on behalf of holidaymakers, it is criminal that officers working many hundreds of miles from the centre of this dispute should be struck down so callously. What a wonderful hotel to stay in. We were uncertain as to the suitability of it but we read a few good things online……..the hotel was great for the kids and we hardly saw them as they were being looked after really well (and patiently) by the young(ish) girl in charge of children’s entertainment. We spent many an hour sunning and lounging like lizards by the pool. Frequent trips to the bar were in order, lovely vodka orange juice, with FRESH orange juice! The beach was just a short walk away and was a nice change. Holidaying here made me wonder why on earth anyone lives in the UK… Read More

FROM THE MOMENT WE ARRIVED WE HAD NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS THE HOTEL WAS OVERBOOKED THEY SENT US TO BENALAMADINA TO THE SOLALOH PORTO THEY CLAIM IT WAS A 4 STAR NEVER WE GOT BACK TO THE PEDRO THE NEXT DAY THE ROOM WE GOT WAS FACING A BRICK WALL THE FOOD WAS TERRIBLE THE STAFF WAS NOT HELPFUL IN THE LEAST WE ARE IN TALKS WITH THEM ALL THEY OFFERED US WAS 3 NIGHTS FREE AS LONG AS WE BOOKED AT LEAST 7 NIGHTS WE WOULDNT GO BACK THERE IF WE WERE GETTING A 2 WEEKS HOLIDAY I CERTAINLY WOULDNT RECOMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE WE WERE GLAD WHEN THE TIME CAME FOR US TO BE GOING HOME Read More

Salou is a great place, if you want to be kept busy, with a great beach, water and theme park. Great for older children (7 upwards) but can be abit to much for younger ones. We stayed at Villa Romana would recommend this hotel highly. Read More
