  • HolidayTravelWatch Launches New Consumer Website

    HolidayTravelWatch announces the Launch of its new website today. The website retains many of the popular features found by many holidaymakers and independent travellers since 2005. The site provides for a fresh approach to the accessing of information, whilst highlighting the ease of access to consumers requiring assistance, and placing at the forefront much of the Organisation’s campaigning activities.

    In particular, the Organisation now operates three distinct campaigns:

    • The Petition to call for action to protect consumer rights within the Package Travel Regulations;
    • The ‘Brown Bag Campaign’ – A Global Petition calling on Government and the Airline Industry to action on the serious issue of Aerotoxic Syndrome;
    • The ‘Whistleblow for Safety’ Campaign – A series of free letters for travel consumers to ‘call time’on serious safety concerns on aircraft, ships, trains or coaches.

    The new website also see the launch of CeeViews. This is a travel review website, independent and not afraid to invite and accept comment, good or bad, from consumers and the travel industry. The CeeViews brand is extended by the TV/video aspect and we shall begin to link to video content worldwide, place extensive footage from other travel consumers and create our own brand of informative and campaigning footage (Autumn 2008) online.
