Stayed in July this year. Like most people we was put in the basement which was a disgrace, considering we booked this as a honeymoon, and we never got any of the free gifts for a honeymoon stay as the brochure stated, and the brochure also states that all rooms have poolside view. This is NOT the case! The next morning we complained and was moved to a room overlooking the pool, but ALL arriving british tourists was sent to the basement. By the time we left after a fortnight EVERY basement room was occupied with brits, and every upper room was occupied with Turks.

We got talking to one of the staff, who was very helpful and we became friends, and he told me that the staff was instructed NOT to talk to the British tourists and just do their job, It was a bad atmosphere at the bar/restaurant and would NOT advise anyone to stay in this hotel.

Also our air-con in the room was leaking water all over the bed, despite many complaints to the staff it was never sorted.

Also the breakfasts was very disappointing.

Overall Olu-Deniz is an excellent resort, However I would NOT come back, I would rather stay in Hisoranu (up the road) as the family who own this hotel own most of the hotels in Olu Deniz
