Frank Brehany - MD of HolidayTravelWatch/Senior Consumer Advocate
Frank Brehany is the current Managing Director of HolidayTravelWatch. He replaced Brenda Wall in 2005, following her sad passing after a long illness. Frank worked with Brenda for many years, prior to his involvement in HolidayTravelWatch, helping her to develop and grow, the foremost Travel Consumer Organisation in Europe.
Frank is a former police officer, who had to retire early from his chosen profession, as a result of an injury he sustained whilst on duty. Following retirement, Frank looked after his children and returned to education, achieving an 2.1 Honours Degree in Law. Frank went onto qualify as a solicitor ,and first met Brenda whilst he was dealing with travel cases in the mid 1990’s. He left travel law work to gain experience in a wider legal arena, returning to assist Brenda in 2003, following her diagnosis for cancer.
Frank has, and continues to travel extensively. He has visited the US 3 times, North Africa, South Africa, Middle East, Pacific Islands and many countries in Europe.
Since the beginning of his working life, Frank has worked to secure the rights of those in difficulty; his work in HolidayTravelWatch is an extension of that life’s work.
Since the mid 1990’s Frank has contributed to many media presentations, and writes extensively on travel consumer issues.





HTW has noted that amongst the submissions to the Committee on Toxicity (COT) it has been suggested that the symptoms highlighted by crew and passengers were akin to the condition of hyperventilation.
HTW has for many years received reports from concerned holiday makers or independent travellers as to the safety of their aircraft, ship or boat, train or road transport.
